There are a number of ways to get to the island:

• By automobile and passenger ferries from Anacortes, WA on the Washington State Ferry;
• By scheduled air service;
• On the Victoria Clipper;
• By charter plane;
• Or by private plane or boat.
• There are also two shuttles that run from Seattle;
  • Island Airporter which runs once a day from SeaTac to Friday Harbor
  • Airporter Shuttle which runs several times a day from SeaTac and downtown Seattle to the Ferry terminal at Anacortes.
