2012 Seasonal Schedule

Garden and Arbor Rooms-$130 one night

Trellis and Veranda Rooms-$150 one night

June 2, 2012 through September 29, 2012

Garden and Arbor Rooms-$195 one night, $180 two or more consecutive nights

Trellis and Veranda Rooms-$250 one night, $210 two or more consecutive nights

(Two night minimum for reservation dates of May 25, 26 and 27-July 3, 4 and 5 and August 31, September 1 and 2)

We are pleased to offer a 10% Discount to active Military Personnel. [Not applicable for any other discounted rates.]

Policies

• Advance reservations are required. We will take cash or a check as payment however, a valid Visa or MasterCard Credit Card number and expiration date is required to secure a reservation until arrival. Your first night's stay will be charged upon making a reservation. The remainder of your room charges will be due upon check-in. Refunds for early departures will be given only if we are unable to rebook the room. If you are using a personal check for the deposit, it is due within seven (7) days of making a reservation.

• The Kirk House is a small Bed and Breakfast with a limited number of rooms. As such, we cannot overbook like large hotels. In order to provide our guests with the best experience possible, please carefully read the following cancellation policy:

          Cancellation Period-within fourteen (14) days of scheduled arrival

• Deposit required for all reservations  = 1st night room charge plus 9.8% tax

 

• When reserving multiple rooms, each room is treated as a separate reservation.

 

• All cancellations whenever made are subject to a minimum $50 cancellation charge per reservation.

 

• All reservations are subject to the applicable cancellation period.

 

• If you cancel your entire reservation within the cancellation period you will lose your deposit. In addition, you will incur an additional charge equal to your nightly room charges for each night of your original reservation if we are unable to rebook your room. If you change your reservation within the cancellation period, or after checking in, which results in you shortening your stay, you will incur an additional charge equal to your nightly room charges for each night of your original reservation if we are unable to rebook your room.

 

• Every effort will be made to rebook cancelled rooms.

• Check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Should your travel arrangements bring you to the Island earlier than check-in time, please feel free to call or stop by. If your room is ready, we will gladly check you in and get you settled. If not, we will hold your luggage while you begin your adventures on San Juan Island. Should you plan to arrive after 6:00 pm, please let us know and we will make arrangements to accommodate your arrival time.

• Check out time is 11:00 am. We would be happy to hold any luggage until your departure, help you interpret ferry schedules and get you on your way to your next destination on time.

• A maximum of two guests (including children14 years and older) can be accommodated in all of our rooms. Our rooms are not suitable for children under the age of 14. Our insurance carrier will not allow us to accommodate unaccompanied minors.

• Although we love pets, our facility is not equipped to handle pets of any kind. Boarding of pets may be possible at boarding facilities located nearby. Ask us for contact information when reserving.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn or on the veranda. Smoking is permitted in the garden areas. Please consider the comfort of our non-smoking guests. Anyone smoking in a guest room will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.

• Guests will be charged to repair any damages beyond normal wear and tear they cause to the premises.

• A full breakfast is served at 9:00 am in the parlor. Coffee and tea are available at 7:00 am in the parlor. Please let us know if you are allergic to dairy, nuts or fruit and we will modify your meals to accommodate your allergy. All of our breakfasts are vegetarian. If you need to catch an early ferry, or have an early morning activity, we would be happy to provide you with some items to take with you instead of a full breakfast. In order to insure that we can meet your needs, please let us know by 5:00 pm the day before if this is needed. We serve afternoon refreshments in the parlor. Hot beverages are available for our guests 24 hours a day.

• A regrigerator for guest use is provided in the parlor. Due to San Juan County health department regulations, use of the kitchen by guests is strictly prohibited.

• Gift selections of wine and champagne, snacks, chocolates, or flowers can be made available for special occasions. Please let us know if you have any requests for specific items and for pricing information. Please request these items at least three days in advance of your arrival.
