The Rooms
Garden Room -This quiet corner room features a queen size bed dressed in a lovely ivory matelassé coverlet and lace trimmed sheets. Elegant paisley fabric adorns the custom headboard, windows and French doors that lead out to a private garden. Botanical prints compliment the peaceful peach colored bead board which lines the walls. Beautiful art glass above the windows and lots of personal touches make this a cozy and comfortable room. Note: This was Peter Kirk’s bedroom.

“The Garden room was private and peaceful. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. We loved the afternoon light as it filtered through the art glass.”

Arbor Room -
A sophisticated color scheme of deep burgundy and neutral tones makes the Arbor Room an elegant retreat. On the comfortable queen size bed, you will find a charming tapestry coverlet and pillow shams. Take a short walk out of the French doors into a private garden, perfect for sharing a cup of morning coffee or an evening glass of one of our local wines with a loved one. Beautiful Charles Rennie McIntosh floral prints decorate the walls.

“The Arbor Room was so sweet. The colors were so restful and we both slept like babies in the comfy bed. Having a glass of wine in our own private garden was a delightful treat after a long day of kayaking.”

Trellis Room -
Our largest and most popular room, the Trellis Room features an elegantly dressed king size bed. Plush pillows, fine linens, and rich Waverley prints make this room a romantic get away for honeymoons, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Guests can enjoy a nice soak in our antique claw foot tub. The oversized shower has two shower heads. Enjoy a lazy afternoon on the veranda.

“Your house is warm and comfortable. The Trellis room was wonderfully romantic. It was the perfect place to spend the first night of our honeymoon.”

Veranda Room - This room, formerly the dining room in the house, features traditional Pacific Northwest decor. The comfortable mission style king size bed, original wood work, and soapstone woodstove in a surround made of Island quarried granite and limestone are the highlights of this room. The bathroom features a large walk in shower that will make you feel you have walked into a romantic grotto. The private entrance leads out to the veranda that is a perfect place to have that first cup of coffee as you greet the morning sun.

"This room was perfect; romantic, yet the beautiful woodwork and fireplace made it a little rustic. The room, with its huge shower for two and wonderfully soft bed and fireplace made for a cozy place to relax and read or watch one of many of the movies from the DVD library. We are
definitely coming back and bringing our friends."
